This year’s Installation Ceremony and Awards Reception will feature the Honorable Edmond Chang of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as the keynote speaker.

In addition, AABA Chicago will be honoring a number of prominent lawyers who have made significant contributions to the legal profession.

Linda Lu, Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at TransUnion, will receive AABA Chicago’s Sandra J. Otaka Trailblazer Award, our bar association’s highest honor, which recognizes the outstanding achievements, commitment, and leadership of lawyers who have paved the way for the advancement of other Asian American and Pacific Islander attorneys and diverse attorneys in general.

Alan Tse, Global Chief Legal Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle, will receive AABA Chicago’s In-House Counsel Leadership Award for his exemplary leadership in the local and national in-house counsel communities.

Michael Wu, Chief Legal Officer at Bath & Body Works, will receive AABA Chicago’s Community Impact & Allyship Award, in recognition of his exceptional track record of collaborative leadership in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession.
